FINALLY. Being that it is the most popular TV show on cartoon network it is surprising that it took this long for this to happen. But Nevertheless Adventure Time is finally going to have a movie. Nerd Mode Activated.
With its lovable characters, funny plots, and mysterious origins this show has what it takes to be a pretty awesome movie. That's just if they don't make the mistake of putting them in the real world *Spongebob*. There is so much potential here and i can't wait to see a trailer. Sadly Warner Brothers have not released a timeline for the movie, but if i would estimate it would release late 2016 - early 2017.
With the production of other amazingly successful cartoon movies such as Lego Movie and the Spongebob Movie series you'd expect that major movie production companies would see he profitability of cartoon movies. It's not like these movies grossed over $500 million dollars (as of today). But now Cartoon Network can actually join Nickelodeon and Disney Channel in the movie business. Well probably not Disney because they have so many historically great movies that i'm sure that even Lionsgate pisses their pants every time Disney releases a movie the same weekend as them. And if your saying to yourself that Disney is not as great as everyone says then you must not realize that Disney owns Marvel.
